A Way With Words Writers Group

Join Newbury Town Library’s new writers group, “A Way With Words”, meeting on the first and third Fridays of every month in our Local History Room!

Looking for a space to write and connect with other local writers?  Find a welcoming community space to work on any writing project you want — fiction, non-fiction, journalism, zines, poetry, or more at the Newbury Town Library!  Join a gathering of writers dedicated to honing their craft, exploring new ideas, and sharing their works in progress. Whether you’re a seasoned author or just starting out, find a supportive environment where creativity thrives.

Whether you are just getting started or honing your craft, our self-led writing workshop provides a dedicated writing space close to home.  Workshop activities may include a writers’ discussion, writing time, and time at the end to share works in progress and get feedback, as decided by attendees.

All writers, regardless of experience level or genre preference, are welcome. Whether you write fiction, poetry, non-fiction, or even screenplays, you’ll find a supportive community eager to help you grow as a writer.

This workshop is self-led and intended as a space to continue the momentum created during our 4 week Writers Workshop led by Diane Forman.  Participation in that Writers Workshop is not a requirement to join in today.
