The Newbury Town Library maintains an extensive collection of parenting books in the adult non-fiction area, but also within the children’s area. Topics covered range from general parenting, autism, loss, disabilities, divorce and more, and our staff is more than happy to assist you in finding these materials.

It features verified consumer reviews and is available as a resource for students and families interested in online programs for homeschooling to help guide the learning process, streamline curricula, provide individual feedback and allow students to learn at their own pace.

- Massachusetts Home Learning Association: The Massachusetts Home Learning Association is an advocacy and education organization, which endorses home learning as an alternative to public or private schooling. MHLA informs and educates families, school officials, the media, elected officers, policymakers and other constituencies about the benefits, societal impacts and unique educational methods of homeschoolers.

- MEFA – Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority: Providing guidance and services to help Massachusetts students and families plan for the future.
- FAFSA – Free Application for Federal Student Aid: Get help paying for college from Federal Student Aid, a part of the U.S. Department of Education, is the largest provider of student financial aid in the nation.
